Foster Corporation Wins Deloitte Connecticut Technology 50 Award For The Eighth Time

 

PUTNAM, CT (December 20, 2007) – Foster Corporation, the world-class polymer compounding specialists, has been awarded a prestigious 2007 Technology Fast 50 award by Deloitte and the Connecticut Technology Council. Foster won this award in 2006 and in eight of the eleven years the program has been in existence.

 

“We applaud the successes of Foster Corporation and acknowledge it as one of the very few to accomplish such a fast growth rate in Connecticut,” said Alex Discepolo, Deloitte Technology, Media, and Telecommunications Partner.

 

The Technology Fast 50 ranks the 50 fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, and life sciences companies in each of 16 regions in the United States and Canada. Selection is based on fiscal year revenue growth over a five-year period.

Accepting the award for Foster was Ken Pickering, Foster’s newly appointed president, who has been overseeing Foster’s operations and growth for years. “Having the efforts of our entire Foster team recognized by such a distinguished prize certainly keeps our quality initiative on the fact track,” Pickering said with pride.
