Foster Corporation Names Gerry Avitable Director of Sales and Marketing
PUTNAM, CT (February 06, 2008) -- Gerry Avitable has been named the Director of Sales and Marketing at Foster Corporation in Putnam, Connecticut. Ken Pickering, the President of Foster Corporation, made the announcement.
Prior to joining Foster, Gerry Avitable has held management positions in the sales of engineering materials at both RTP Company and GE Plastics.
With over 30 years of extensive hands-on experience in thesales of technical products, his educational background is equally impressive. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
In his role at Foster, Avitable will oversee all aspects of the sales and marketing of Foster’s compounds, supply chain solutions, and application development engineering in the global markets. Furthermore, he will be working directly with customers to support their ongoing needs and goals.
